Thank you for your service

My name is Liam McGonigal and I plan to go to the military my self I am 18 years old and I am related to Fr. McGonigal he was my great uncle. Although I never met him because i wasn't born yet I have a great amount of respect for those who have served this country. Ever since the day my dad showed me the poem written about you that is now hanging on the wall in my house with your picture next to it I never stop thinking about what a great person you must have been. I hope that I would have made you proud just like I hope my dad Aloysius Paul McGonigal has. I hope you know even though I never met you I will always remember what you did for this country. Thank you.
