Never Left Behind
I received the original bracelet with your name back in 1970. Have been wearing ever since, so far a total of 55 years. Will never leave you behind as I think of you every day and the bracelet is NEVER taken off. When in the police force there was a magazine that would issue a replacement bracelet if the GI was still missing. Since the original was about to break in half, a replacement was ordered with the original being retired to a small private area to honor you. Semper Fi

Still have his POW bracelet
I’m a 63 year old retired teacher. I’ve had Sgt Benson’s bracelet since I was about 12 or so. Every year I would bring it to my classes to show my students and tell them what it meant and how it helped us to personalize and remember those who sacrificed their lives in war. Blessings to his family.
