Thank You
Dear CWO Paul Moran, Thank you for your service as an Utility/Observation Helicopter Pilot with the 1st Cavalry. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. It is Advent. Time passes quickly. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness, especially now. Rest in peace with the angels.

My friend
Paul and I were flight school classmates, WORWAC 69-3, and close friends. We both served in the 1st Cav, different units. On the day he died I and another B/227 aircraft flew with Paul’s A/229 unit. Paul and I swiched places in the flight formation to keep the 4 A Co and 2 B Co aircraft together. Paul was in the 3 slot where I was supposed to be when it was shot up and he died. I think about him every day and miss him dearly.
