Thank You

Dear PO3C Malcolm Mole, Thank you for your service as a Hospital Corpsman 3rd Class with the 26th Marines. Semper Fi. Thank you for the lives you saved. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. Veterans’ Day is soon. Time passes quickly. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness, especially now. Rest in peace with the angels.

Picture from Hospital Corps School.

I took my banjo with me to HCS at Great Lakes in 1966. I have a picture of Malcolm, and the guys sitting around me in the barracks shower with me playing my banjo. Malcolm was such a great guy. We both were in Nam at the same time at basically the same places, but we never got to meet up and "howdy and shake", or talk about our days at HCS. RIP my friend. The picture hangs on my wall in my music room. Michael Breid HM3 RVN 1967-68

The Radio Sales Guy

Malcom was one of the first people I met when I started for night show at WMFJ in Daytona Beach. He was a sales guy no older than I at 18. He was always up and cracking jokes in that thick Brit accent. Most don’t know but Malcom didn’t have to go. Although British, he lived The US and this was what he knew was right in his heart. I named by son (Geoffrey) in his honor. They come no finer.

Thank you Doc, "Semper Fi'

Knew Doc. Mole for a short time - A fun guy to be around - He told me that he was in Canada, when the song "Little Black Egg" was being recorded - He was there with the group, in a bathroom, when the song was recorded! Always think of you Doc. - RIP -
