Thank you for your service to our country so long ago sir. You died at 18 years of age. I am 74 and have lived a long and fulfilling life. It is tragic you never had that same opportunity. May you rest in eternal peace.

Corporal Emil Max Miltnovich was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross for his heroism and extraordinary achievement while engaged in aerial flight. He served as a Flight Qualified Aircraft Maintenance Apprentice and Air Crewmember. He was assigned to the 174TH AHC, 14TH AVN BN, 16TH AVN GROUP, AMERICAL DIV.
