Do not stand at my grave and weep
Do not stand at my grave and weep.
I am not there; I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow,
I am the diamond glints on snow,
I am the sun on ripened grain,
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry,
I am not there; I did not die.
Mary Frye – 1932

In Memorie of a fiend I served with.
I still don't know why that had to happen.I still
have memories of you around the 174th flight line,
even as we were only 18 and 20 year old kids.I just
wanted to say your not forgotten.

Brother
Max, as I look back on this picture. I think of all the good times we had and all the fights.Boy could we fight.I remember all the trips to Lander to see your Grandma. Now of the three us ,you, Rick and myself,, I'm the only one left..I wish that was different . Life is to short and yours was cut down to soon.. I feel you would have been a very productive and giving man and we all lost out..I pray Max that your soul has peace .. I will never forget you..

Max,
Thank you for being a wonderful friend,
I have very happy memories of you and I think
of you everyday. I have told my family and
friends about you, and all the fun and crazy
things we used to do. But they will never know
how you touched my heart and how your memory
lives in it. If my tears could bring you back,
you would have been here years ago. I never
understood why you joined the army. I respect
you for it. I wish I could be as brave of person as
you were.
I am very proud of you.
You are not only my friend, you are my Hero.
I miss you very much.
God bless you, and rest in peace until we meet again.
Love,
Vicki W.
