do not stand at my grave and weep

Do not stand at my grave and weep
I am not there. I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry;
I am not there. I did not die.

Thank You

Dear Sp4 Paul Maleszewski, Thank you for your service as an Infantryman. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. Time passes quickly, but it is an unusual time. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage, guidance and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.

Not Forgotten

I remember you, Paul, as if it were yesterday. You would come over to Granny's and pick up Phyllis and me and you took us to see Chuck and Eddie's on Hwy 90
not far from the Starllite Drive In.
I remember so clearly that you went away and then we got the news of your tragic death.
I do think of you often and talk about you with family and friends. You will never be forgotten.I was only 9 but my memory is clear.
