Thank you for your service to our country so long ago sir. While all deaths in Vietnam are tragic that you died just seven days after your 22nd birthday is especially so. May you rest in eternal peace.

Dear Sp4 Larry Leopoldino, Thank you for your service as an Infantry Direct Fire Crewman. Your 73rd birthday is soon, happy birthday. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. Happy Spring! For many of us, we have begun Lent. The time passes quickly. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage, guidance and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.

Dear SP4 Larry Gene Leopoldino, sir

As an American, I would like to thank you for your service and for your sacrifice made on behalf of our wonderful country. The youth of today could gain much by learning of heroes such as yourself, men and women whose courage and heart can never be questioned.

May God allow you to read this, and may He allow me to someday shake your hand when I get to Heaven to personally thank you. May he also allow my father to find you and shake your hand now to say thank you; for America, and for those who love you.

My uncle was a fun loving man and loved to ride our grandpa's horse Thunder.
He lived in Hilo Hawaii all of his life and always made us smile. May God Bless Him for we do me him very much.

Don't recall who took the photo, I do remember several photos being taken. Trying to recognize who was in the background to no avail. Just remember the big rocks. I guess age might play into it, and I was considered young then.
