My memory of Tom
I went through basic training with Tom. Same squad and platoon. He was a native Mainer, like me. He could be very funny. And he played a mean guitar. We shared the hardships of training and made it through. I looked up to him. He was 4 years older than me and I really admired his spunk. I never saw Tom after basic and wondered how he was. While attending UMF, I learned of his demise. That was a very sad day for me.

Never knew Tom but my ex wife did
Many condolences to our family. My ex wife Donna knew Tom and told me of him. I was a door gunner/crew chief in RVN 5/69-8/71 and would love to have met him. Much Hoa Binh to you and your family, Tom. RIP and Hoa Binh.
