Thank You
Dear PFC Christian Langenfeld, Thank you for your service as a Rifleman. I researched you on your 52nd anniversary, sad. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. For many of us, we have begun Lent. The time passes quickly. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage, guidance and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.

Chris Langenfeld
Chris was my uncle Walter Marcoe's grandson. ..I believe my first cousin once removed. He was my sister, Kay's age. It saddened my heart to see how much it affected my uncle Walter. What a horrible war, what a horrible place for this young man, my cousin, to die.

My friend
I went to high school in Oshkosh Wisconsin and we entered service at the same time after graduation. He went Marines and I went Army and I heard of his loss during Tet. A good friend, a good man, dearly missed to this day.

Thank-You to K. Kost
I do not know who you (K. Kost) are or where you got the pictures but I want to say "Thanks" for finding pictures of my high school friend and fellow marine. I think of Chris often and have his name on my desk here at house that was replicated from his name on "The Wall" in DC. 40+ years since we laid Chris to rest in a Fond Du lac cemetary. I will be at "The Wall" again in April and will have another long conversation with him while there: "All gave some, some gave all". Rest in peace and Semper Fi my friend. Thank-You K. Kost!!!!!
