Hey Bobby
Just to say I remember when we were kids on Mary St. in the ROX. We were in country at the same time but never together.

Bobby was such a special, friendly, smiling schoolmate.
Bobby sat behind me in our homeroom in highschool. He was always tapping me on the back and telling me funny jokes. He always had a beautiful smile on his face. Just loved him; they didn't come nicer than Bobby. My heart broke when I heard he was killed in Viet Nam. I still get tears when I think of him and the short life that was given to him. God bless you, Bobby. I look forward to the day when I see you again. You were a blessing to go to school with and I will never forget you.

I still remember you Bobby
I was with Bobby the day he was killed. At the beginning of the assault on Hill 881 South, Bobby led the way. He suffered a grievous injury for his effort. I was the first to get out to him. He was in an exposed position and we couldn't stand to get purchase and drag him out. But it was not for want of trying. Staff Sergeant Karol Bauer gave his life trying on our second try to rescue Bobby. Tomorrow is Memorial Day, but for me, every day is Memorial Day and every day I remember my friend, Lance Corporal Robert Kotik.
