Yes his first name was Glen however the only name he went by was Klein. Klein would come over to our hooch when we came back to a fire base for a 3 day rest before going out on patrols again and sit around shooting bull 's' and play cards. Some times he would win. We didn't play for money, but annie up a beer ( you see we would get 2 beers and all the soda when we came in) Klein and me talked a lot about family and I learned from him how important it is to treat a wife as if she is a goddess. Klein would put his wife on a pedestal every time he talked about her. When we heard that you hadn't made it Klein, we wanted to visit your wife and let her know what great man you were.
