honoring you...
Thank you for your service to our country so long ago sir. While all deaths in Vietnam are tragic that you died just seven days after your 22nd birthday is especially so. May you rest in eternal peace.

Thank You
Dear PFC George Kilbuck, Thank you for your service as an Airborne Qualified Infantryman. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. It is Advent, and we are beginning our preparations. The time passes quickly. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage, guidance and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.

I uttered your name
I traveled to Washington in November 1969 to protest US involvement in the Vietnam War. At a White house candle-lit vigil, each of us selected a placard with the name of a fallen US soldier. I took yours and still remember uttering your name that night, a name I never forgot. I have wondered through the decades of your family, of the pain they still suffer from your absence. Of all that you dreamed to do. God Bless You, Sir, and all who have loved you.
