honoring you...

Remember to save for them a place inside of you, and save one backward glance when you are leaving, for the places they can no longer go...

Thank You

Dear PFC Greg Keller, Thank you for your service as a Rifleman. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. We are approaching Thanksgiving. The time passes quickly. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.

Just remembering a great Marine and friend. He was our platoon as well as our series honor man. It's been 48 years since that fateful day. I hope he and his family have found peace.

Greg was my neighbor

I grew up down the street from Greg and his family. He was one of the "older kids" who us younger types both held in awe and also pestered. He was always nice and protected us from being abused too much. I always remember Greg, Norm, Jim and Tommy asking my mom if they could come swimming and to us kids it was like the Dodgers were in our pool.

I still remember the day we came home from the beach and word was going around the neighborhood that Marines had been to the Keller's house to deliver the horrible news.

RIP Greg - you were giant to us kids before you ever put on a uniform. God Bless You for your sacrifice.
