The other day a I found out that you were a good friend of a man who I have seen on numerous occasions. He didn't know I was your sister and I didn't know he was in your life. As he hugged me, it was like a hug from you. After our conversation, I turned on the radio and your favorite song played. You never stop showing me you are still with us. I love and miss you.

Dear PFC James Johnson, Thank you for your service as an Infantryman. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. The time passes quickly. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.

PFC James K. Johnson was an infantryman assigned to B Company, 2nd Battalion, 2nd Infantry, 1st Infantry Division. On March 24, 1969, PFC Johnson died in Binh Long Province, RVN, after being fatally injured by the accidental discharge of a weapon that was being cleaned by another marine.
