Thank you for your service to our country so long ago sir. The remembrance from childhood friend Karl Lutz is poignant. As long as you are remembered you will remain in our hearts forever.

I met Mike when I was about 9 years old before he joined the Marines. He was a friend of my parents. He used to tell me he was from the planet Katia and described to me in great detail of what it was like there and all the wonderous things to see. I was so facinated with him and his tales. He was a hero to me then and to me now that he is gone......maybe back to Katia.
