I'm the granddaughter that never got to meet you. I will never know the sound of your voice, the strong but loving embrace of a grandparent, or will I ever know your love! But I do know you were a brave American that fought for us all! You sacrificed your life so we could keep living the lives we love and I suppose that is a sacrifice of love that not many know.
