Thank You

Dear Lcpl Charles Hinton, Thank you for your service as an ONTOS Crewman. Today is Flag Day. There is no better way to respect the flag than to honor you all. Watch over the USA, it still needs your strength. Rest in peace with the angels.

Missing you

I think of you often but especially at this time of the year. The last time we were together was the day I brought home my first born child. You left for vietnam and was killed when kevin was 9 months old. He is now 47 and I know what a great uncle you would have been. Memorial weekend for me is especially special as kevin was born on May 29 1969 at balboa hospital in San Diego. You would be so proud to know that you had a neice and three nephew follow you into tne marne corp. . You will forever be in my heart my little brother.

Remembering An American Hero

Dear LCPL Charles Coleman Hinton Jr, sir

As an American, I would like to thank you for your service and for your sacrifice made on behalf of our wonderful country. The youth of today could gain much by learning of heroes such as yourself, men and women whose courage and heart can never be questioned.

May God allow you to read this, and may He allow me to someday shake your hand when I get to Heaven to personally thank you. May he also allow my father to find you and shake your hand now to say thank you; for America, and for those who love you.

With respect, and the best salute a civilian can muster for you, Sir

Curt Carter
