Remembered when he was killed

I knew Everett and took the call informing our unit, 2nd Battalion, 319th Artillery, that he had just been killed when his helicopter was shot down.

Field Artillery OCS Class 18-67 Fort Sill Oklahoma

CPT Herren was assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 319th Artillery, 101st Airborne Division. He was killed in action while serving as the Artillery Liaison Officer (LNO) to the 3rd Battalion, 187th Infantry.
