Herb

I remember flying over you that day. The ground was covered in low shrub, bushes, and small trees. There was no place to land though the two aircraft were clearly visible. Our initial information was ground fire, though we didn’t see any enemy in the area. It was difficult flying as the tears blurred my vision. Thanks for your service, Herb.

I read your obituary and wanted to let you know that your death was not forgotten. I heard you died in a helicopter crash and to tell you that I hope your family is ok. I hope they're not going through hard times and is living well. I hope they are safe and will not have to be in deep despair for your death. I hope you lived a good and great life and everyone that learns your death will be thankful for you.
