Even though we never got to meet everytime I think about you I cry. You have been in my mind a lot lately. And I have decided I’m getting a tattoo in your remembrance, with your handwriting.

Thank you for your service to our country so long ago sir. The remembrances from your friend Joe Medina, sister Annette and note at the Wall from your brother Jeff are moving and reflect their love, admiration and respect for you. As long as you are remembered you will always be with us….

May those who served never be forgotten. We can never truly repay the great debt we owe our fallen heroes. Rest in peace LCPL. Haney, I salute your brave soul. My heart goes out to you and your family. Semper Fidelis!

I didn't in mentioned,however military records show that Perry was awarded the Bronze Star with combat V for valor.
BTW Duke.. you looked "squared away" as any marine in your cap. Semper Fi
