THE WALL OF FACES

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:

Dear Cpl Edward Haggerty,
Thank you for your service as a Machine Gunner. The war was years ago, but we all need to acknowledge the sacrifices of those like you who answered our nation's call. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.

We learned at Vb Middle today that many have served in the Vietnam War. We all around the world thank you dearly for your serving of our country. You truly are the reason all of us today are protected and safe.

Ed and I were shot together , by the grace of God I survived. I will never forget you and still have no answer for " why did I live", haunts me.
