THE WALL OF FACES

Sergeant William Donald Griffin II, Served with the 63rd Infantry Platoon Combat Tracker, Americal Division, United States Army Vietnam. He was assigned to Company B, 1st Battalion, 6th Infantry Regiment, Americal Division, When He was Killed in Action.

Grif was a good friend and a great dog handler. He was the third person we lost in 1970. I think of them often.

Thank you for your service to our country so long ago sir. As long as you are remembered you will remain in our hearts forever…..

All through high school and at MSU I enjoyed your friendship and your great sense of humor. 55 years later, I still remeber you with love.

Hey my friend. It has been 50 years. You were supposed to stand up in my wedding, but I was your pall bearer instead. I often wonder how much better the world would have been had you been allowed to stay longer. But I long ago stopped questioning God. I do know my world was better because of you. Think of you constantly. Love you buddy.
