Memories of a Friend who I will never forget
Bill Griffin was a good friend and constant support during our Advanced Infantry Training at Ft. Lewis, Washington. He was a great athlete and had a tremendous sense of humor. When we were sent to Vietnam, we were separated. Bill went to the 101st Airborne Division and I was sent to the 9th Infantry Division. I never saw my friend again. I had heard through a friend that Bill was killed but I chose not to believe it until I saw his name on the traveling wall. My love goes out to his family and friends. Bill was an incredible friend and I loved him. I will never forget Bill.
