Memorial Day 2021
When the helicopter landed at Pleiku, I held Dick’s head as he was removed from the chopper. He was conscious and responded to me. I cannot forget that night or LT Gray. I honor his service and sacrifice.

My Friend Dick Gray
I was a classmate of Dick's at Norwich and also XO of B Battery 7/15 Field Artillery. I saw him that morning when C Battery pulled in to Phu Non and we went to LZ Oasis. We shot fire support for you that night. His hometown of Salem, MA is honoring him April 12, 2019 with a memorial square named after him.
