To our Second Cousin who served our Country and gave HIS LIFE for us.

I too served during 1967 to 1969 in The U.S. Army Airborne. I came home and many of my brothers did not return. it has been some 50 years later that we found you on the WALL. We also had a second cousin who served Lt. Col Donald Riley U.S. ARMY Special Forces. We lost him in 2004. Don served from 1964 to 1974.

Paying My Respects

After 50 years, I had the opportunity to pay my respects to Mike, one of my best friends through AE A school and our first squadron. The photo of the plaque is a memorial from his grave, in the next post is a photo is of Tom Novak and Mike. Tom was killed in a rocket attack just before Christmas 1968.
