Major Laurent Lee Gourley, Served with the 416th Tactical Fighter Squadron, 31st Tactical Fighter Wing, 7th Air Force.

Major Laurent Lee Gourley, U.S. Air Force Academy Class of 1966, has his name on the USAFA Graduate Memorial Wall. Maj Gourley was a Captain at the time he went MIA in 1969, promoted with his classmates to Major, then declared dead in 1978. I was going through old stuff today and I found my Pow Bracelet that I wore for years, Junior High, High School and beyond until it broke in half. I could not just let it go so it was always put in with my High School remembrance.
I would like to give this to Capt. Laurent’s family if they would like it.
I always prayed for this man every day.

I have saved an article from the Tempe Daily New October 24th, 1973. I also chose your Bracelet as a child . Best to your Family and friends. I am someone you don't know personally but you are all in my heart and very grateful and in my thoughts.
