THE WALL OF FACES

Thank you for your service to our country so long ago sir. While all deaths in Vietnam are tragic that you died eight days before your 20th birthday is especially so. May you rest in eternal peace.

Dear PFC William Gibbs,
Thank you for your service s a Rifleman. Happy Advent. It has been too long, and it's about time for us all to acknowledge the sacrifices of those like you who answered our nation's call. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.

Bill and I grew up together. We danced many dances in our neighborhood garage parties. Bill was so kind and fun. Our families shared many things together. Our mom’s had morning coffee together and consoled each other in the loss of their sons. Bill you served our country with bravery.

Bill and I we in graduation class of 1966 at Reavis High, Burbank Illinois. He went into the Corp. and I with the Army Engineers. Our last conversation was as we were leaving school. We discussed how well the Chicago Cubs were going to do that year.
