Never forget
Ron, I have been wearing your MIA bracelet since my Army days (1988-1992), and think about your situation all the time. I picked yours to wear because I am from Arizona and still live here. I have visited the Wall 2-3 times, and seen your name. I hope Vallhalla is treating you well.

Ron, my comrade in arms, my hooch mate, my friend
It's been a very long time my friend but you have never been forgotten. I was looking at some old 16mm movies the other day and there you, were in that stinking hole of a hooch we lived in at Quang Tri. Then again, there you were with Bruce Cannon standing by the tail of your loach at Khe Sahn with you pointing at a .51 cal hole in the tail boom. I miss you my friend, I always do.
I flew the first VR that day and had come back to Khe Sahn to refuel and you had headed out next one. I remember so clearly sitting on a cot in the open air, getting dusted off by aircraft coming and going when someone ran over and told me you were down. I immediately jumped up to go to you but was ordered to stand down, they said they had aircraft in the area. I hated the rest of that day, you were gone and they were unable to recover you. Days with low gray clouds still haunt me of that day and loosing a person I thought so highly of. You are not forgotten.
