honoring you...
A butterfly lights beside us like a sunbeam
And for a brief moment its glory
and beauty belong to our world
But then it flies again
And though we wish it could have stayed...
We feel lucky to have seen it.

Thank You
Dear Sgt Joseph Funk,
Thank you for your service as an Infantryman with the 1st Cavalry. . It has been too long, and it's about time for us all to acknowledge the sacrifices of those like you who answered our nation's call. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.

Missing My Buddy
It’s been a long time my friend. I remember the good times we had out in the Hamptons. We signed up to serve our country together. I made it back. I’ll never forget the day I learned of your passing, I just returned from a deployment. You were laid to rest the week before I returned. I think of you often my friend. Rest In Peace.
