do not stand at my grave and weep
Do not stand at my grave and weep
I am not there; I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow,
I am the diamond glints on snow,
I am the sun on ripened grain,
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry,
I am not there; I did not die.
As long as you are remembered you will never die....
I am not there; I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow,
I am the diamond glints on snow,
I am the sun on ripened grain,
I am the gentle autumn rain.

HM3 Robert J Aucoin Never Forgotten
Bobbie, you and Ron were close friends of my brother Rick.
I was just a young teenager but remember thinking that you were a real good guy....the quiet one.
When I heard you were injured and on a hospital ship, I prayed that you would return home safely.
I was so very, very sad to learn that you succumbed to your injuries.
When I visited the Vietnam Wall in DC, I did a rubbing of your name. Whenever the war comes up in conversation, I tell people about your courage and bravery, taking fire while saving another serviceman.
Today, just days before Veterans Day 2020, I will be bringing Rick's grandson
Coast Guard Fireman Apprentice Contois to the Vietnam Memorial at Greenhill Park.
I will tell him all about you.
We will trace your name with our fingers and say a prayer.
RIP Bobbie
Thank you for your service.
Thank you for your heroic actions, that saved the life of your buddy.
I will never forget you.
Janet (Contois) Fiorentino
