Bobby was my bunk mate in Corps school and I still remember the talks we had about going to Nam and what was expected of us. He was a good man and will never forget him

I miss You, Bob.

Bob,
you were always Tops in Hospital corp school, and a fine combat corpsman. I remember daily, the firefight you got hit in. You went to save Gallagher while I was tending to Heim. 4 got hit that day. You were so brave to respond so quickly to gallagher, and told me as I was going out to you that you'd be okay, but you instructed me to get to Gallagher, you'd be fine. You are at peace now, Gallagher did live. You are my HERO, I always did admire how you carried yourself. The world lost a great person when you left. I know your family still aches, but Bob, I'm sure they are proud. You did well Brother. I love you...Peace now..and Semper Fi,
Doc Cahill

I have visited the wall and have prayed by your name. I told mom that i saw you there and she told me stories of when she was 13-14 and what she knew of you and of what a good man you seemed. I never met you but I always think of how brave you were, being so young but being so determined to help others.
God bless.
