honoring you...
Thank you for your service to our country so long ago sir. The remembrance from your high school classmate Bob Goree is poignant. As long as you are remembered you will remain in our hearts forever…..

The BIG brother....
Rocky's Dad, LL, was my Dad's #1 B-52 navigator, as well as his BEST friend. LL and Frankie were like Aunt and Uncle to us kids, and Rocky was the BEST Big Brother/Cousin EVER. ROCKY AND I shared the same birthdate...January 28th. He was born in 1947, and I came to be in 1954. I vividly remember sharing a Birthday Party/Family gathering to celebrate our birthdays. I was turning 5 and Rocky was turning 12...I'll never forget him letting me blow out the candles on our birthday cake.
He was the sweetest and most loving guy who put up with a little squirt like me. I loved him....and wanted to marry him when I was 5.
We were at Beale AFB when the news of his death came..,we were all devastated. One of the very few times I saw my Father weep. He flew to Travis AFB to meet Rocky and escort him home to Missouri.
We all loved him dearly!

Dear PFC Rockford Everett,
Thank you for your service as an Armor Reconnaissance Specialist. It has been too long, and it's about time for us all to acknowledge the sacrifices of those like you who answered our nation's call. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.
