A great young soldier lost.

I had the privilege to serve with Randy at Fort Bragg at the US Army training center. I had been there about 6 months as Company Commander of Co A 3rd Bn Ist Bde USATC it was a basic training unit for beginner in the US ARMY. Randy was assigned as my training officer we were both young Lt’s almost born on the same date me being Dec 22, 1943. We had a great relationship and enjoyed each other’s company, it was not unusual to spend a few months as training officer and then be sent directly to Viet bam. I knew Carolyn and also knew that you were pregnant. We all had some good times at Fort Bragg. Never forgot, LTC Kenneth Parks retired. May God be with all his family.

Hometown Memory

I first met Randall Arney when he was a Senior in High School & I was in First Grade in our hometown of Klickitat WA...I was chosen to be the flower girl at the Fall Formal...I was at the practice when he pointed me out and said "That little girl is so cute."...I instantly fell in love with my classmate's big brother.
