Silver Star Medal Award

Staff Sergeant Joseph Rene Dupere was awarded the Silver Star Medal for his conspicuous gallantry and intrepidity in action. He served as an Infantryman and was assigned to A TRP, 1ST SQDN, 4TH CAVALRY, 1ST INF DIV, USARV.
