THE WALL OF FACES

Hello Richard. I hope your'e looking down from heaven on me, one of the people you showed kindness to as a child. You took the time to play baseball with us, when you could have been doing other things, that a teenage boy indulges in for himself. This is the act of kindness I remember about you. I was too young to really remember you, but I remember you were a very gentle and handsome man. I'm sorry I couldn't say goodbye to you when you left home for a cold, far away country, where little did we know, we would never see your kind face again, or hear your soft gentle voice ever again. I miss the thought of you and your not being able to have a son as wonderful as you. What the world has missed because of your great sacrifice. Remember me too Richard, I, Denise (Patch) now, a woman who can appreciate your heart of kindness. I hope you'll meet me at the front gate of heaven.
