I remember you from the neighborhood, school, and at the Smith's house. You were a good looking guy who was kind to all. Your always in my thoughts come memorial day as a wonderful young man who made the ultimate sacrifice. God love you Rick.

Dear Soldier, I am doing a project in a couple of my classes and we have to write remembrances for as many Vietnam Veterans as we want. I am 16 years old, almost 17. You were close to my age when you went to Vietnam War and gave your Supreme Sacrifice. You fought, gave your all, and died for what you believed in, and I sit here and wonder would I have the courage to do what you had to do. I know I would be scared as I’m sure you were. I just want to let you know that you will never be forgotten. God Bless You, Amanda Kinney
