While looking for christmas decorations in the attic tonight, I stumbled across a box of what I believe to be some of my mother's belongings. In it, I discovered some very old coins, souvenirs, name tags from her time as a nurse in the air force, and his bracelet. Not knowing what it was, I googled his name on a whim. My heart is now filled with gratitude (in the thanksgiving season, no less), for those who have served, are currently serving, this bracelet, and for 1lt Steven ARMITSTEAD. What a blessing this humbling discovery has been.
