Always Remembered
I am from Kansas and have proudly kept your bracelet for 40+ years. I wore the bracelet for years and now I wear it on Memorial Day as a reminder of the sacrifices you have made for my freedoms. May God Bless your family.

In Rememberance
I have had your MIA braclet since sometime shortly after 1971. My companion in life I met years later. He, unknoewn to me, had your copilot's braclet. We have been together for 15 years. To the family, he will never be forgotten. His memory & sacrifice will always be a part of our lives. May he be at peace.

If I should die...remembrances for CAPT. Michael Leo DONOVAN, USAF...who made the ultimate sacrifice
If I should die, and leave you here awhile, be not like others, sore undone, who keep long vigils by the silent dust, and weep...for MY sake, turn again to life, and smile...Nerving thy heart, and trembling hand to do something to comfort other hearts than thine...Complete these dear, unfinished tasks of mine...and I, perchance, may therein comfort you.

I never met Michael til I met his family in the 70's. I read all the government papers his family received about his plane going down over water in Laos. I have worn his POW bracelet for over 20yrs. I've been to The Wall many times, dedications of Vietnam Memorials and moving walls. Laramie Wyo had the best with former POW and museum set up of a lot of artifacts from Vietnam. The Walls and memorials are a moving experience.
