MIA Bracelet

I bought his bracelet when I was a Sophomore in high school not knowing whether he was an MIA or POW. I just knew when they were found we were to return the bracelet. I still have mine. Years ago I wrote my congressmen about it telling them if I wanted to know about his whereabouts I couldn’t begin to imagine how his family felt. I was reassured they would keep looking and where I could find his name on the Wall.

MIA Btacelet

I never knew Captain Donovan. But, as a child, I was given his MIA bracelet. I would like to get it to any family members who would be interested.

Thank You

Dear Captain Michael Donovan,
Thank you for your service as a Tactical Fighter Pilot Systems Operator (F-4 Phantom II) (Rear Seat Operator or Guy in Back.) You are still MIA. PLEASE COME HOME. Memorial Day just passed, and we remember all you who gave their all. It has been too long, and it's about time for us all to acknowledge the sacrifices of those like you who answered our nation's call. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.

MIA bracelet

I've recently been wearing his MIA bracelet since my grandpa let me wear it. I may be a few generations away from being within the significant time of the war, but I look at it daily hoping he finds his way home eventually.

Always remember: Capt. Michael L. Donovan

I wore Capt. Donovan's MIAPOW/ bracelet while my husband was stationed at Fort Rucker, AL. Helicopter School. I have kept it all these years and never forgotten his name. I am happy to finally connect his photo with his name. I want to say thank you for his supreme service and sacrifice for our country. Thank you to all U.S. veterans!!!!
