My great uncle

You were my Pappy's favorite nephew and I've read some of the letters you sent home. My mom, your little cousin, was at your funeral and she missed you so much. She told me many stories about you. I'm about to retire from the Army and I wear your memorial bracelet daily. We were the same age when we deployed, the only difference is that I made it home. You're never forgotten and I look forward to meeting you on the other side.
