Remembering An American Hero

Dear LCPL Gaylon Daryl Davoult, sir

As an American, I would like to thank you for your service and for your sacrifice made on behalf of our wonderful country. The youth of today could gain much by learning of heroes such as yourself, men and women whose courage and heart can never be questioned.

May God allow you to read this, and may He allow me to someday shake your hand when I get to Heaven to personally thank you. May he also allow my father to find you and shake your hand now to say thank you; for America, and for those who love you.

With respect, Sir

Curt Carter

Thank You

Thank you for all that you sacrificed in this war. Even though you were only 20 you gave your life fighting for the freedom of others in our country. You are part of the reason we have the freedom that we do today. Thank you for giving your life to keep us free.

Thank You Mr. Davoult

I would like to say thank you soo much for your service. I am studying the Vietnam War in english class. We were assigned a Vietnam hero and your name was given to me. Your profile made me stop and think about how you were only 4 years older than me when you died. I just want to thank you again for giving your life for others.
Sincerely,
Paige
