I will never forgot

My name is Judy Hanf ...I had gotten the Mia bracelet with 1LT. PATRICK CURRAN in 1972. I wore the bracelet for years hoping to hear some news of him...I recently found the bracelet and my daughter researched his name...I am heart broken to hear he never made it home until 2001. To his family I have never forgotten his name. I will has keep him in my thoughts and prayers.

Remembering An American Hero

Dear Major Patrick Robert Curran, sir

As an American, I would like to thank you for your service and for your sacrifice made on behalf of our wonderful country. The youth of today could gain much by learning of heroes such as yourself, men and women whose courage and heart can never be questioned.

May God allow you to read this, and may He allow me to someday shake your hand when I get to Heaven to personally thank you. May he also allow my father to find you and shake your hand now to say thank you; for America, and for those who love you.

With respect, and the best salute a civilian can muster for you, Sir

Curt Carter

Proud of your service

Patrick or Corky as my mother called him, was my 2nd cousin.

I wear his bracelet each year during the month of May, even though I do not remember him very well, I'm extremely proud of his service, and I wish to remember him.
