Our neighbor
i remember Louis as a childhood neighbor. Our whole family felt great pain when we attended his funeral. My older bother Gary and I talk of him frequently. We keep his family in our thoughts and prayers.

You were 18 years and one month when you died
Dear PFC Louis James Cunningham, sir,
While I have read of many 18 year olds that gave their life for this country, you were 18 years and one month old when you died.
Now age 53, it truly saddens me to think of how much in life you missed. If any of your friends or family read this, may they know that I will remember you for as long as God allows me to live.
And, Sir, it is my hope that God will allow me to shake your hand when I get to Heaven, for I believe you are surely there.
God, if you're reading this, please give Louis and all of the others a hug for me. So many good people, gone for so long, but may they never, ever be forgotten.
