Dear Michael,
Although you do not know me I am getting to know you.
You see, only because of fate, your brother and I have been in touch with each other thru a thing called "The Internet". The possibility of our paths ever crossing is not possible--- but it has happened.
Your brother, Terry still grieves for you and will never forget you.
Your name is forever etched on a place of honor and is truly a place for "Heroes".
Michael-- you see -- I was with Third Battalion, Third Marines, "Mike" Company,
Third Platoon-- 0331 Machine Guns.
That was your exact unit.
That was my exact unit-- however Michael-- I was transferred to 2/9 south Of Danang sometime in Oct. or Nov. of 1966!
You had to have been my replacement.
How ironic it is that after all these years your brother and I should have the opportunity to meet.
Our Lord works in mysterious ways!
