Brother’s
I was with you when you fell and loaded you on the chopper to start your journey home. Green Berets are not suppose to cry, but I did that day. You had volunteered for that mission because most of us were new and your bravery inspired us. Andy, you will always be in my prayers and heart.

Laughing down the wind
Here I arrive on this day again, my old best ever friend, with thoughts of you and younger times we once spent laughing down the wind. You're not ever forgotten.

do not stand at my grave and weep
Do not stand at my grave and weep
I am not there; I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow,
I am the diamond glints on snow,
I am the sun on ripened grain,
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry,
I am not there; I did not die.
As long as you are remembered you will always be with us.
I am not there; I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow,
I am the diamond glints on snow,
I am the sun on ripened grain,
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.

Do not stand at my grave and cry,
I am not there; I did not die.
As long as you are remembered you will always be with us.
