Memories
I was only nine years old when my Uncle Peter was killed in Vietnam. I remember my Uncles Peter & Paul trying to tell me that Grandma was planting "Purple People Eaters" in the back yard, as she was gardening! The song was popular and I probably believed them!! Peter is very dearly missed and it was an honor to visit both the traveling and permanent Vietnam Memorial Walls.

My Favorite Uncle.
Peter was my uncle and died when I was only 9 years old. Peter and his twin brother Paul were our favorite uncles. The thing I remember most is when they would take us to A&W for ice cream cones. Of course, it was so they could have an excuse to see the girls that worked there. But, my sisters and brother and I loved spending time with them. They were the greatest uncles you could ask for, and of course, Paul still is.
When they went into the Marines, we got their records, puzzles, books, etc. I still have their set of Enclopedia Britannica. I think of both of them everytime I see them sitting on my shelf. They both sacrificed alot for our country and we will always love them for that.
