I went to high school with Leroy. We only had a casual friendship,but we liked and respected each other.
Leroy i graduated from Marine Corp boot camp the day before you were KIA. Two month later I was in Vietnam. We called it the Nam huh buddy. Anyway my friend thank you for your service and sacrifice. I think I have finally gotten the nerve up to go visit you at your resting place 53 years after being home. It’s not that I didn’t want to go see you and pay my regards and respect ,I know you know what I’m saying even if nobody else does

Leroy all these years I've never forgotten about you I remember in 1966 we were both at NAS getting inducted into the military you in the Army and me into the Marines I never realized were in country at the same time I returned to United States on May 31st didn't find out about you until many years later was really saddened by the news of your death. So many years we spent together at the Baptist Home. Miss you brother
