Lt. Colonel David Louis Hrdlicka was awarded the Prisoner of War Medal after he was taken prisoner while engaged in action and held captive. He served as a Pilot and was assigned to the 563RD TAC FTR SQDN, 355TH TAC FTR WING, 13TH AIR FORCE.
