On November 11, 2023, the annual Veterans Day at The Wall ceremony we will be celebrating the 30th anniversary of the commemoration of the Vietnam Women’s Memorial. This ceremony will be co-hosted by Eastern National and the National Park Service, with additional support from VVMF.

A touching ceremony where each 2023 honoree’s name is read aloud. If you are present, you may read the name. If you are unable to attend a volunteer will read your loved one’s name. In Memory was created in 1993 by the group – Friends of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial. VVMF began managing the program and hosting the ceremony in 1999. More than 6,000 veterans have been added to the In Memory Honor Roll since the program began. To see all the honorees, please visit the In Memory Honor Roll.

March 29 – National Vietnam War Veterans Day Observance

Our National Vietnam War Veterans Day ceremony will be a storytelling event on the East Knoll of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial. We’ll be joined by veterans from VVA Chapters 227 (Fairfax, VA) and 641 (Silver Spring, MD) as they reflect on their service.
